Nail Minis

I received my Mark Mini Nail polishes and I loved the colors. They just scream SPRING! Now just as a heads up, they are called MINI so they truly come in a mini size! They are only .09 oz. So don't expect a regular size nail polish.

Mark Nailed It Mini Lacquers

I decided to try a nail look that I saw on Seventeen magazine. You basically take some tape and stick it to your nail diagonally.

You then paint your nail like you would normally do.

This is what it would look like.

After it dries you then peel the tape off carefully.

And voila, you get a nice crisp edge.

Just add a top coat and done. Sorry about my nasty nails, I'm a stay at home mom so my nails never look pretty. As you can tell I did my hands differently with each color. I kind of like the peachy color better and the way that design looks.

As a fun side note, these lacquers were featured in Cosmo magazine in the March 2013 edition under $10 Tops! Budget-friendly buys that make you look (and feel) like a million bucks. Cosmo lately has been featuring a lot of Mark and Avon products. FUN!

Mark Touch and Glow Eye and Face Look

Got this look using my Mark Touch and Glow in Warm Glow,
and Cover Girl eye enhancers in Shimmering Sands.

I used Urban Decay's eye primer potion and then put the lightest color in the Cover Girl palette all over my eyelids. I then added the color from the Mark palette, 2 row from top to bottom, 3 cube from left to right. I put that in my crease with a wipershield motion back and forth. Then I grabbed the darkest color in the Cover Girl and added that just to the outer corners of my eyes. Make sure to blend the colors good. I then lined my eyes with a black eyeliner, I kept the line thin. I also added fake eyelashes since most of mine fell off. :( I let them dry and then lightly curled them and added a coat of Cover Girl Lash Blast mascara to mix my eyelashes with the fake ones.

On my face I also used the Mark Warm Glow as a highlighter. I swirled my brush on the top three cubes and applied it to my cheek bones. It gives me a nice dewy look. Please forgive the eyebrows, they need some cleaning. And tada!

Campaign 6 Product Reviews and Featured in Cosmopolitan Magazine

I'm excited to say that Campaign 6 has many of my favorite products on sale and many new products too. To start off two of my favorite hair products are on sale.

Smooth and Shine Capsules (092-640) are regularly $8 and they're on sale for $4.99. I love love love these little capsules. I have long hair and one capsule is enough to add shine to all of it. It also makes my hair super soft.

Then there is the Dry Ends Serum (883-261) that is also great. It really makes the ends look much healthier and also adds a pretty shine to the hair without making it look greasy. Also on sale for $4.99.

Now Avon blushes are one of my favorites and they come in cream, powder and smooth minerals. This one here is the Be Blushed Cheek color in Tropical Peach (382-719) and it's on sale for $5.99. It looks great on my taned color skin.

I also love the Smooth Minerals Blush in Blushing Mauve (432-558). This blush leaves you with a dewy look, I usually don't have to add highliter to my cheeks when I use this blush. It's also on sale for $5.99.

Last but not least it's the Ideal Luminous Blush in Soft Plum (248-887). This blush is really pigmented, you have to make sure to not pick up too much product and then to blend it really good so you don't end up looking clownish.

I'm also loving the Ergonomic Eye Liner Brush. For the price of only $2.99 it's a great buy. It's super soft and makes lining my eye easy. (399-232)

Another product that is on sale for $12.99 and has been selling like hot cakes is the Black Suede men's cologne. It would make a great gift for the man in your life.

And to finish it up, this set of earrings is only $9.99 and it comes with a silver tone and a gold tone. They're nice because they aren't too big or to small, they're the perfect size for an everyday hoop earring.

They also came out with this cute Dual ended nail dotting tool. It's only $1.99 and it works wonders. I had never used one before but I loved it. It made it so easy to draw desings on my nails. I highly recommend it. (329-136)
And as a side note, it was super exciting to see an Avon product featured in Cosmopolitan Magazine. They featured Avon Moroccan Argan Oil Leave-In Treatment. They recommended it for dry, static winter hair. So there you go, Cosmo aproves of Avon hair products. (195-780)

Hope you found something you like and let me know if there is something you would like me to review from the Avon catalogs. Don't forget to visit my on line store and my youtube channel where I also review the products.
