Golden Eyes

I'm in love with my  Mark Exotic Hues Eyeshadow Trio . The colors are so vibrant and I've been able to make different looks with it.

My latest look was a yellow eye with a warm brown.

It's super simple. Using the yellow color in the palette I patted it all over my eyelids. Then pick any warm brown you have and add it to the crease making sure to blen out any harsh lines. I lined my eyes, starting thin from the inside and made it thicker towards the outside. I added some fake lashes and mascara and finito.

On my lips I have Mark Lipclick in toasty which I'm in love with. Also if anyone is interested in the  necklace it's Mark's Moonlighting Necklace .

Gradient Nails with Mark Nailed It Mini Lacquers in Marrakesh

I have a crappy camera so sorry that I couldn't get a better picture of the result. But believe me when I say it looks so cool and pretty. I got the idea from pinterest, follow my All things Beauty board to see other great pins.

I used the Mark Nailed It Trend Mini Lacquers in Marrakesh and a make up sponge applicator. I cut the applicator so that it would fit my nail better and then I added the polish on like so.

And then you just blot the sponge onto your nail. You keep blotting until you get the desired look. I had to go over it a couple of times because the color wasn't as dark as I wanted it to be. And don't worry it's supposed to look messy like the picture below.

Because then you use cue tips and polish remover to clean up the edges.

And then you top it off with a clear top gloss. Simple enough.

I really liked the result and how the too colors worked together. Don't forget to let me know what you think and subscribe to my blog for more beauty ideas from one mom to another.

Two easy Dark Eye looks.

Here is a very simple dark eye look that I like because it's not too harsh looking. I used a smoky eye Cover Girl palette but you can use any black and silver colors you have.
I started by putting the silver all over my eyelid making sure not to go past the crease. I wanted to keep this just on the eyelid. Then I simply started to pat on the black in a triangle shape on the outside corner of my eyes. I also blended it so it wouldn't look harsh, but try not to blend it upward because we want to keep it just in the outer corners and not into the crease. I think that by keeping it below the crease makes it look more toned down and wearable for the day. Just my opinion. I then added a soft line with the same black shadow. I kept it from the middle of the eye out and left the inside half untouched. Finished with Cover Girl Lashblast Mascara and done.

My second look is even simpler. I did this on a day I was rushing to get ready for work. I simply lined my eyes with black eyeshadow and then blended it upwards. Not too much, still wanted to only keep it as close to the lash line as possible. I then added liquid liner on top of that and curled my lashes. That's it, but I loved how it gave my eyes a subtle smokiness to it. With something this simple I put on a bright lipstain. I'm wearing a Mark lipstain in Lolli.

Hope these were simple enough. I'm no professional make up artist or blogger, so I might not be good at showing you how I did these looks but I will learn one day. Hope atleast I can give you some ideas.

On the DOT eyes and Toasty Lip Click

Since I started working this past month I now have a reason to actually do my make up almost everyday. It's only a part time at the mall, but I actually like the fact that now I have a reason to fix myself up.

On this particular day I reached for my fake Mac Drange which is an ORANGE color and for my Mark On the Dot Neutral Eye Color compact.
And here's my look.

I started off with my urban decay primer and then added the lightest shade in the compact all over my eyelids. I then used the orange color on my creases. I did a windshield whiper motion and made sure to blend it out good so it wouldn't look clownish. I then used the darkest shade in the compact and blended it into the outer corners of my eyes. I tried to maintain it only in the outer corners so it wouldn't overpower the orange. I then lined my eyes and added mascara.

For my lips I used my FAVORITE lipstick. It's the Mark Lipclick Full Color lipstick in Toasty. I know that below, it looks really dark but as you can see on my picture it's the perfect neutral shade. I love it cause it gives me the perfect amount of color that makes my lips look natural. It also has a light minty tingly feeling when you put it on.
